Cow-tipping. And for the men: Bull-tipping. The event can be judged by size of bovine and distance athletes run before being trampled/gored.
Obstacle Course à la Wipeout.Of course, the downside would be that we would have to watch Bob Costasdo a touchy-feely bio about an Olympian from some country where theydon’t have “Big Balls.” OK, maybe that would be worth watching! Bob:“After the break, we’ll see what Sürgé had to do to get his hands onsome Big Balls.”
Dungeons and Dragons. Nerds unite! The Olympics already has badminton, so it’s not such a stretch to make D&D a sport.
Double Dutch. I would love to see an inner-city 12-year old girl kick some Russian As*!
Bar-B-Q. Television sets would have to be upgraded to Smell-O-Vision. Can you imagine how much fun the training would be?
Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii. I just might have a shot at the Gold! Oh no! Not Rainbow Road!
Dodgeball. Hey! If Handball can be an Olympic Sport…
Miniature Golf. Oh please! You can’t tell me that curling is more exciting. Athlete interviews would include memorable quotes such as “Das vindmill is vucking impozibul!”
Bullsh*tting. Finally, an event for politicians! They can actually compete for medals, not just votes. “A javelin in every garage, and a shuttlecock in every pot!”
Cat bathing. No reason, other than it’s just so fun to watch.
LOL Cow tipping!!! That is a good one. And I think nearly everyone is good at bullshitting!
Great 10! LOL Love the cat bathing.
Oh man, this list puts mine to shame. D&D, Double Dutch, BBQ, cat bathing… Yes, this is likely to be the best list of the week I'm thinkin'.
I totally love your guest post!
Thanking you all for your comments on behalf of my guest blogger!
Yeah, Tall Paul! Awesome suggestions. My favorites are Cat Bathing, Mario Cart for the Wii, and Cow Tipping!
Cat bathing. Awesome idea. I came up with the obstacle course, too. I purposely didn’t read anybody else’s to make sure I didn’t feel the urge to lift any ideas.
Man! Is this guy funny! Florinda is one lucky woman!
Florinda is lucky she can get free posts out of her husband 🙂 – and yes, he’s a very funny guy!
I think maybe we need to start a petition to get Cat Bathing on the Olympic events roster. Who’s with me?
My cats would freak with the bathing!
I played too 🙂
Teena – But that’s why it would be so much fun to watch :-D!
My faves are Double Dutch, and of course, cat bathing.
Who knew Cat Bathing would be such a popular spectator sport?
That would be great if Paul starts up his own blog! I’d definitely stop in and visit. That’s a great list. I especially like the idea of adding in Double Dutch. That would be my favorite event.
Literary Feline – I think Paul’s in preparation mode. He was designing a title banner this weekend, and has a whole list of post ideas. His blog will be WAY more random than mine. I think he needs a place to rant :-). But I’m really excited that he wants to join us!
Not a fan of Cat Bathing :-)?
I seem to be on the receiving end of the cat bathing lately. I do love watching a cat bathe though. It’s very relaxing. 🙂
Literary Feline – I don’t think Paul had cats bathing themselves in mind with that one – that can be relaxing to watch. In my experience, giving a cat a bath is anything BUT relaxing :-)!
