    1. Ooh, good to know! People were so taken with Homegoing at the time that I just wanted to stay away from it, but now I’m really looking forward to reading it.

  1. I think I liked A Good Neighborhood more than you. I didn’t like that guy either. He really set my blood to boiling as an 80 year old would say. LOL. I didn’t like how it ended but I did like how the author chose to lead you down a certain path. I read it during the protests. I was already quite fired up and then I got more fired up when I turned the last page.

    1. It definitely didn’t help that the character we both disliked had the same name as my ex-husband. LOL. And I agree with you about the ending. That said, I tore through that book–it is HIGHLY readable.
