The meme thief strikes again!

I found both of these at Melody’s Reading Corner. Melody does a lot of fun memes, and she does tag…she’s never tagged me, though, so I just appropriated these two. I’m not tagging, as usual, so feel free to play along on your blog if you like!

Arch MARCH – a birthday meme

  • Determine your birthday month and get a word that rhymes with it or you can affix to it. Caps lock your birth month (ex: MAYday! JUNE dune, APRILicious, JULYvely, AUGUST pocus, parched MARCH…). Be unique.

  • Your birth month plus the word affixed or rhymed shall become the tag’s title in your case.

  • Get your birthday and add the digits involved. Example, if your birthday falls on the 25th of July, add 2 and 5 you get 7.

  • Whatever is the sum, write a list of the MATERIAL gifts you wish to receive, the number of which shall correspond to the sum of your birthday. For example, applying the case above (in rule number 3), you will write seven (7) things you wish to receive.

  • After your wish list, put your name and birthday in the Bloggers’ Birthday Directory, with a link to your blog/s. Note: when you add your birthday, please place it in a way that the dates appear chronological (January, February… 1, 2, 3)

  • Pass this tag meme by tagging as many people as you want.

Birthday: March 29
Calculation: 2+9=11.
And now I’m going to CHEAT. I can’t think of 11 things for a wish list, so let’s do this calculation once more, based on the first result:
   11 —-> 1+1=2

My wishlist:

  1. Bookstore gift cards
  2. iTunes gift cards

(hey, I like to do my own shopping!)

  2. Florinda – How did you get the little comment box to show up on your post page?

I’m coming to appreciate lemonade a lot more now that I’m not drinking soda. 🙂

I got my husband an iTunes gift card the year before last for Christmas and he’s still using it. If it had been me, it probably would have been used up within the first month.

  3. Literary Feline – The comment box is a new feature available through Blogger in Draft; here’s some info about how to get it to work.

I’ll even buy iTunes gift cards for myself. I like having money on my account over there whenever I get a whim to download something :-).

  4. Good answers! I like your your choice of color! Blueberry would be my second choice, chocolate chip is first, muffin-wise. 🙂 And I’m still jealous that you have a macbook! 🙂

  5. Mike – Yeah, but you have an iPod Touch and I don’t. (My husband does, but that doesn’t count.) Things even out.

Chocolate-chip muffins are also good, and I like cinnamon-streusel ones too (no apple, just cinnamon). Blueberry ones have fruit, though, so you can at least pretend they’re healthy :-).

  6. Melody – People rarely tag me, which is why I steal memes :-). Actually, most of the bloggers I usually steal from are “non-taggers” like me, so I don’t think it’s a problem. But tag me any time you like!
