The Prémio Dardos (the Darts Prize) was awarded on separate occasions by My Friend Amy, NoBS of NoBSBookReviews and I Meme It,  Jessi of casual dread, and Nicole from Linus’s Blanket.

In September 2008, there was quite an outpouring of love, as the “I love your blog” award came from five generous folks: Lori at Barefoot in High Heels, Karen from Nouvelle Blogger, Marie from The Boston Bibliophile, Karen at Planet Books (not the same Karen as the first one I mentioned – but good heavens, I know quite a few blogging Karens!), and Serena of Savvy Verse & Wit.

During the winter of 2009, The 3 R’s was honored with two awards that had very similar criteria:

These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes of self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers!”

In February, this blog was recognized for “honesty in blogging” by Betty & Boo’s Mommy of The Betty and Boo Chronicles.

In March 2009, Dreamybee of Subliminal Intervention chose this blog as one of her nominees for the Proximadade Award.

The coveted (by me) Zombie Chicken Award was bestowed by Becky of Becky’s Book Reviews in April 2009.  This is the only award I have ever campaigned for.

Also in April, the Splash Award was bestowed by Avisannchild of She Reads and Reads in recognition of this post. Kristen at BookNAround also awarded this one in September 2009.

The Lemonade Stand Award was granted in June 2009 by Gentle Reader of Shelf Life. This award is for bloggers who demonstrate “attitude and gratitude.”

In July 2009, the “Humane Award” was granted by Sheri of A Novel Menagerie for general good citizenship in the blog world.

Sheri of A Novel Menagerie also awarded the “B-I-N-G-O” BEAUTIFUL BLOG AWARD in August 2009.

The Heartfelt Award came from Mari at Bookworm with a View in August 2009.

In August 2009, the Kreativ Blogger Award was given by Amy of Amy Reads Good Books.

In November 2009, Lisa of Lit and Life named this as an “Over the Top!” blog.
