The trainwreck begins! But if you’re an American Idol watcher, you probably don’t need me to tell you that – and if you don’t watch it, you probably don’t care that the new season starts tonight with the first audition-clip show.
But you know, it’s not like there’s much else to watch these days…and since it appears that the rest of the season for scripted TV may be officially trashed now (and next year thrown into limbo), why the heck not? You know everyone will be talking about it anyway. I’m sure I will, but since we record the shows on DVR to watch later with the kids, I’ll probably be a little behind the times with my comments about the goings-on.
Let the craziness begin!

I wasn’t going to watch this season. I hate the commitment it requires, but a couple of my friends talked me into it and, I guess it is something to talk about at the water cooler (which we really don’t have at our office–but you know what I mean).
LF – We have the first two auditions shows recorded but haven’t watched them yet – we’ll catch up next weekend when the kids are with us.
My office doesn’t have a watercooler either, but the AI discussion group will start back up once auditions are over. 🙂
